VPNVW Quick Start Guide

Account → plan → subscription → client → connection test. Follow this path to complete setup; look up route details or streaming catalog issues only when needed.

Create an account: no email required

Click “Start Free” below to open the VPNVW user panel. Create an account with a username and password; no email address is required. Follow the prompts to choose a username and set a password you don't use on other websites. Check your entries before submitting. The button starts the account creation process; plan prices are listed on the plans page and in your panel order details.

When you're done, open your account overview. Make sure your account details are displayed before choosing a plan. If you land on the login page instead, sign in with the username and password you just saved. A trusted password manager can keep your credentials handy when setting up another device later. Account creation and subscription import are separate steps, so you don't need to enter any route details in a client yet.

If you see a message after submitting, check whether the username is available, the password meets the page's current requirements, and your internet connection is working. Don't submit repeatedly or include your password in a support ticket. For account access issues, start with the Help Center. If you already have an account, use the “Log in” link at the top to open the panel and continue.

Choose a plan: monthly subscription or data package

Once your account is ready, open the plans section in the user panel. Choose a billing type based on how often you'll use the service, then check the data allowance. If you stream often or regularly use international services, compare the monthly plans. If your usage is less predictable, consider a data package that lasts until it runs out and never expires. Unlimited devices doesn't mean unlimited data, so factor in usage across all your devices.

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the date you activate your plan, not at the start of a calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they last until the data runs out and never expire. Not sure which to choose? Compare both options on the plans page—there's no need to decide while setting up your client.

After choosing a plan, open the order confirmation page and check the plan name, price, and data allowance. Follow the panel's instructions to pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Once you've paid, return to the panel to check the order status; don't assume the plan is active just because the payment page closed. If the payment result and panel status don't match yet, refresh the order page before trying again to avoid paying twice.

VPNVW offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund policy. See the refund policy for details. Continue to the subscription step after the order is complete and the plan appears in your account overview. This helps distinguish subscription issues caused by an inactive plan from client installation problems.

Get your subscription: copy it from your account overview

Open your account overview in the user panel and check your plan status and remaining data. Then find the option to copy your subscription or import it into a client. A subscription is an entry point for a client to retrieve route settings, not a streaming webpage to keep open in your browser. The client uses it to get a list of routes, so you don't need to enter regions, server addresses, or protocol settings one by one.

If the panel offers a quick import for your client, make sure the app is installed first, then click import and allow it to open. If your browser doesn't open the client, copy the subscription instead: copy the full link from the panel, switch to the client's subscription or configuration manager, and paste it into the subscription URL field. Don't paste it into a username, proxy port, or individual server address field.

When importing manually, check that the link has no spaces, line breaks, or extra text at either end. The example below only shows the format for identification; it won't connect and can't replace a subscription generated by the panel:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

Keep your subscription link as carefully as you would your account credentials. Don't post it in public groups, screenshots, or online conversion tools. When contacting support, don't paste the full link into your message. If you think it may have been exposed, check whether the panel lets you reset it or ask for help through a panel ticket. After changing the link, reimport or update the configuration on your devices.

Once the link is copied, continue to the next step and choose the platform you're using. You can set up the same account on any supported platform, with no device limit. Each device still needs its own client configuration; importing it on your computer won't connect your other devices automatically.

Import the client: set up your platform

Open the client downloads section in the panel, choose the option for your operating system, and read the relevant instructions. Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Linux are supported. Client downloads and subscription access require you to log in and depend on an active plan shown in the panel. This section covers common import steps; use the panel for client-specific options.

You'll need a network client that can read subscription configurations, not a browser extension or streaming player. Configuration formats aren't interchangeable just by changing their names. If a client says the format isn't supported, go back to the panel and check the correct import method. Don't change protocol settings first; a valid subscription should provide the full configuration for the client to read.

Windows: add it from the subscription or configuration page

Choose the Windows client in the panel, follow the instructions to install it, and open the app. Go to a page labeled something like “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or “Configuration management,” then choose the option to import from a link. If the panel offers quick import, you can launch the client from there. To import manually, paste the full subscription link you copied earlier, give the configuration a recognizable name, and save it.

After saving, update or download the configuration and set it as the active one. A list of regional routes means the client has loaded the configuration; seeing only a configuration name doesn't mean the import is complete. Next, find the system proxy or connection switch and turn it on as directed by the client. If the client asks for additional network permissions, read the prompt and follow the instructions. For now, don't run another network client at the same time, as that can make it harder to tell whether the connection is working.

macOS: import and confirm the active configuration

Choose the macOS option in the panel and follow the instructions to install a client that supports subscriptions. On the configuration management page, paste the link using “Import from URL” or “Add subscription,” or use the panel's quick import option. Save and update the configuration, select the one for VPNVW, and turn on the proxy or connection feature. Some clients put the connection control in the menu bar; closing the main window doesn't necessarily disconnect you.

If macOS prompts you to allow a network extension or connection, check the app's source and the panel instructions before following the system prompts. When switching configurations, also check whether the selected route changed. Once setup is complete, open an app you want to use and test it; don't rely only on the menu bar icon. You can use the checks in the final section after your computer wakes from sleep or switches networks.

Android: add a subscription and allow the connection

Choose the Android client option in the panel, follow your device's instructions to install it, and open the app. Go to “Configuration,” “Subscription management,” or a similar page, then choose to add a remote subscription. Paste the copied link into the URL field, save, and update the configuration. When the update finishes, select that configuration and check that regional routes appear in the list before connecting.

When you connect, Android may ask for permission to set up a network connection. Make sure the prompt is from the client you just installed, then allow it. If another network app is already connected, disconnect it before testing. If the connection drops when the app goes into the background, check the system's battery and background activity settings; there's no need to change every system option at the outset. First verify that the connection works while the app is open, then troubleshoot any differences in background use.

iOS: import your subscription using the panel instructions

Choose the iOS option in the panel and check the client instructions for your device. On iOS, use a network client that supports subscription imports and follow the panel's instructions to find it in the App Store. The client's availability requirements are separate from your VPNVW plan, so check them independently. After installing it, return to the panel and use the relevant import option, or add the full subscription link from the client's subscription or configuration page.

After importing, update the configuration, choose a regional route, and turn on the connection. If the system asks to add a network configuration for the first time, follow the authorization steps on your device. Once the system shows a connection indicator, open the app you want to use and test it. If another network configuration is in use, check that the one you just imported is active. A subscription link isn't a server address for manual network setup; the two serve different purposes.

Test your connection: confirm apps use the route

After importing the configuration, choose a region and connect. For everyday use, choose a route based on the service's region. For a specific streaming catalog, also check the platform, account region, and route's exit location. Routes cover 120+ countries with 150+ routes, but coverage doesn't guarantee access for every platform or account. First confirm that the network connection works, then check whether the platform content is what you expect.

Open Network Check to see the current exit information available to the page. You can note the result before connecting, then connect and refresh to compare. With rule-based routing, different sites may take different paths, so the result only represents the route used by that page's request. One IP check alone can't confirm that all your apps are using the route.

Next, open the browser or app you actually want to use, visit the service, and check how it loads. If the browser works but another app doesn't, check the client's rules or proxy scope, then fully close and reopen the app so it can establish a new connection. A “Connected” status means the connection feature is on; it doesn't mean every app's traffic is routed as expected or that your streaming account has access to a particular catalog.

If the connection fails, retrace the setup steps: check your plan status and remaining data in the panel, update the subscription, confirm the active configuration, try another suitable route, and finally check whether another network client is still running on your device. Change one setting at a time and note what happens after each test. This makes it easier to tell whether the issue is with your local network, client configuration, or the service you're trying to access.

Once access is working, you can use rule mode to route different requests according to your configuration. Global mode is useful for temporary comparisons when following client instructions; there's no need to route all traffic that way long-term just because one app has an issue. For details on modes and common problems, see the Help Center. If the connection works but streaming content still isn't what you expect, see the Streaming Guide and check the exit region, account region, and platform restrictions separately. There's no need to create another account.

If you need help from customer support, submit a ticket in the user panel with your device platform, client, route region, error message, and steps you've already tried. Hide your password, full subscription link, and sensitive payment details before sharing screenshots. A reproducible description is more useful than “it doesn't work.” Once the issue is resolved, test the connection again in the app you use.
